Giving Back to THE COMMUNITY

Mark has volunteered throughout his career and is dedicated to sharing his time and expertise with causes he cares about. He is skilled at applying his insights to guide organizations and contribute to their success. His current commitments include:

Mark has worked closely with the Founder of this national charitable organization before it even existed. He co-developed the initial strategic plan and has been on the Board for three years as the charity has grown exponentially and become an advocacy leader for liver health.  

Mark has been involved with 100MWC, an Ottawa-based philanthropy group since 2021. We have raised over $275k for local charities to-date. He recently joined the Board to work on Outreach and contribute to the city even more.

A fan of music, Mark also dedicates time to a local rock band. He shares his business expertise with the group, having developed a strategic plan, annual plans, and successful grant applications. The band has released two albums, played at the Ottawa Bluesfest with much more  to come.

As an alumni of Concordia's JMSB, Mark has been a judge for the MBA International Case Competition held in Montreal annually since 2019. It's a great opportunity to stay connected with future leaders from around the world and the trends they're interested in showcasing during the competition.
